So here we are, another new Pokémon expansion. Destined Rivals – a hyped set because of the inclusion of Team Rocket. However, there’s no Jesse or James which is what everyone loves about Team Rocket (apparently they were written out of the series a few year ago).

I don’t necessarily think this is a blow-away amazing set, I think the Clamperl illustration rare looks phenomenal but that’s about it.

Still, you can’t help but get excited for a new set.

I managed to get an Elite Trainer Box and the Kangaskhan 3-pack blister online from The Card Vault, at RRP. These were delivered on Saturday, I also managed to buy 4 booster packs from my local Waterstones on Friday.

Then, also on Saturday to my surprise a local board game café were selling products too, and below RRP! I managed to get another ETB and the Zebstrika 3-pack blister (£45 for the ETB, £12 for the blister).

The best pull? A special illustration rare of Ethan’s Adventure…

Overall from 28 booster packs, I had 9 pulls which averages out to 3.1 packs for a “hit” which I think is probably average.
